He is currently employed at Cytech Mobile, a technology company that delivers solutions for the Telecommunications Industry globally, contributing to both Software and Business Development. In his company, the human is on top of the process and agility gets flesh and bones. When he has some time to spare, he is usually, coding, traveling, exercising, playing Basketball, running semi-marathons, reading books, listening to music, cooking, co-orging or attending to open communities. Well at least until he finds something more intriguing or inspiring.

Yorgos Saslis

Yorgos is an OSS enthusiast and software craftsman, with a background in concurrency and distributed systems in the telecoms domain. He cares about improving the problem-solving process - not just solving the problem itself - with an emphasis on automation. He helps teams practice clean code and improve their software delivery processes. As the founder of two meet-ups for developers in his home town and the AgileCrete open space unconference on the (paradise) island of Crete, he clearly believes deeply in the power of community, whether offline or online. He is also on the Org team for the exclusive JCrete Java unconference. His day job finds him automating stuff at Red Hat, the world's open source leader.

Nikos Voulgaris

Nikos Voulgaris

Nikos is a professional software engineer and scrum master, passionate about clean code and software craftsmanship and true believer in the original intents of Agile. He is particularly interested in software design and Extreme Programming practices and he is really fascinated by Test Driven Development (especially the Outside-In technique). He strongly believes in the power of the community worldwide and therefore, he loves to share his knowledge and broaden his horizons. He is currently employed at Blueground, contributing as a software engineer in a scrum team. In the past, he has worked in organisations ranging from Nokia and Tripsta to small startup companies, having the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of software projects and business domains like telecommunications, travel and health. During the day, he writes software. During the night, he presents in radio, DJ, studies Italian, travels, reads lots of books, (used to) play basketball and he would do more if only he could extend the 24 hours…

The preferred way of communicating with the org team

...is simply to use the #AgileCrete Slack Channel. Share your ideas, questions and feedback with other people in the community! As the org team, we've got nothing to hide.

When you absolutely, positively must (!) send a private mail to the org team, use the Contact form on the home page or, alternatively agilecrete (at) gmail (dot) com. We really prefer the Slack Channel though - and we'll reply faster  ; )
